Energy and Clean Tech Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

Greenhouse is looking for an accomplished Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our energy and clean tech practice.

We seek a creative, collaborative, and passionate individual keen to build a career in purpose-driven communications. You will support a portfolio of integrated communications campaigns for technology innovators, international NGOs, governments, and global leaders in clean energy.

Our energy and clean tech practice helps scale the technology and innovation to drive the energy transition, supporting global initiatives, leading multinationals and game-changing start-ups. We help grow businesses, mobilise governments and accelerate action.

You will be responsible for implementing communications strategies, delivering impactful media and social media campaigns, and supporting a high performing team. Clients could include multinational initiatives such as the Mission Possible Partnership, global corporates such as Wärtsilä, and innovative start-ups working with the Carbon Trust. You’ll get the opportunity to work on topics such as battery storage, solar power, industrial decarbonisation, and more.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about clean tech and making a positive difference, who will enjoy the idea of working in a supportive, mission-driven team, where wellbeing is paramount, and everyone is working to a common goal.

Skills and experience

  • Experience supporting integrated communications campaigns, including media relations, social media and digital.
  • Skilled writer, able to communicate messages clearly and compellingly across different channels (e.g. copy writing, social media, blogs, media releases).
  • Proficiency and experience in digital communications, including social media content and engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Understanding of public relations, traditional and digital media.
  • Desire to learn new skills and grow through continuous professional development.

Desirable knowledge and experience

  • Communications agency and/or clean energy/tech experience.
  • Understanding and interest in global energy sector trends, policy and technology.
  • Working or academic background in energy, tech or climate sectors.
  • Experience using digital platforms; social media channels, content scheduling platforms and Mailchimp.

Salary and benefits

  • £27-35K depending on location (Bristol or London) and experience.
  • Flexible working: core hours 10am-4pm with 2-3 days per week expected in the office with options for increased flexibility dependent on personal circumstances.

  • 25 days holiday (plus your birthday and office closure between Christmas and New Year).
